Community training

Sharpen your skills by joining our free community training program.

We run different sessions throughout the year to support not-for-profit and community organisations in Yarra to run as effectively as possible.

If you are involved in a local community organisation, the sessions are a great chance to get information about applying for grants, and managing relationships, projects and media strategies.

The program is aimed at:

  • community leaders, managers, coordinators or volunteers
  • members of management committees
  • people considering joining the management committee of a not-for-profit organisation.

All training sessions are free however bookings are essential.

Please note: our training program is funded to assist organisations, not-for-profit groups and clubs that are based in Yarra or service the Yarra community and will therefore be prioritised.
