We're upgrading Charles Evans Reserve to make sure the park can serve a broad range of park users for years to come.  

Last year we asked you for your feedback to better understand how you want to use this space and what improvements you think we should make. Based on your feedback we’ve developed a draft Concept Design for improving this space, which includes upgrading and replacing the existing playground.  

The design will consider the following elements:  

• A new shadier location for the play space with some nature-play elements 
• Space for walking dogs
• More picnic facilities, including a BBQ and more tables and chairs 
• Improved lighting 
• Space for meeting up with friends and family 
• A basketball/sports area with play opportunities for older children and young adults.
