Grange Road in Alphington will be closed at the level crossing between 9pm Friday 6 October to 5am Monday 9 October to allow works associated with the Level Crossing Removal Project.

The Victorian Government is conducting significant works in preparation for lowering the rail line under Grange Road, with the goal of reducing congestion and making roads safer.

Traffic management will be in place to assist drivers, pedestrians and cyclists. Please observe any signage including detours and allow extra time for your journey.

Wingrove Street, Fairfield between Perry Street and Fulham Road, and Ravenscourt Place, Alphington will also be closed to vehicles during this time.
