Changes to Fees and Charges 2026-27: Yarra Leisure
As part of the 2026-27 annual budget process, Yarra City Council have adopted an increase in fees and charges across its services, including Yarra Leisure, to maintain high standards and keep improving our facilities.
When will the new fees and charges be introduced?
- Casual programs and services including visit passes: Wednesday 1 July 2026
- Membership fees: Tuesday 28 July 2026
- Swim School membership fees: Tuesday 28 July 2026
What are the casual prices?
The casual prices listed below are effective from Tuesday 1 July 2026.

Merchant fees
Direct debit payments incur a transaction fee based on the payment method used.
- A surcharge of 1.43% (minimum charge $0.50) applies to all credit card transactions.
- An additional 1.1% surcharge applies to payments made with international credit cards.
- A flat 35-cent fee will apply to each transaction for customers paying directly from their bank account.

2026-27 planned facility improvements
In the adopted Budget for 2026-27, Yarra City Council has committed to improvements to our venues including:
Collingwood Leisure Centre
- Electrification of plant room
- Work done to the Geotech flooring on pool deck
- Painting of metal beams
- Upgrade to air control to improve the pool deck environment
Fitzroy Swimming Pool
- Re-turfing, irrigation installation and garden upgrades of toddler pool picnic area
- Locker upgrades
Richmond Recreation Centre
- Upgrade lockers
- Gym and Group Fitness Air Conditioning replacement.
