At Tuesday night’s Council Meeting, Council:   

• adopted Yarra’s 2024/25 Budget and Long Term Financial Plan  
• adopted the 2024/25 Annual Plan 
• endorsed the concept design for the upgrade and expansion of Charles Evans Reserve 
• resolved to proceed with the installation of additional play equipment at Cambridge Street Reserve 
• resolved to commence the required statutory procedures for a road discontinuance at Charlotte Street in Richmond.  
• endorsed the immediate installation of the existing cricket nets over winter at the Ramsden Street Oval as a pilot study; and concurrently runs a community consultation process regarding the use of the space for many and varied groups year-round.
