Moving to the next stage of COVID-19 vaccine rollout

The Federal Government has announced that COVID-19 vaccines will be available for children aged 5 to 11 from 10 January 2022.

All children aged 5 to 11 will be eligible for the Pfizer Paediatric vaccine from this date. Their doses will be 8 weeks apart.

To make sure you don’t have to wait, it’s recommended to book early. Parents will be able to book a COVID-19 vaccination using the vaccine booking platform.

The Victorian Government has announced some changes to COVID-19 restrictions

From 11:59pm, Thursday 23 December, 2021

Face masks will be mandatory:

  • at any indoor setting (except for private homes) from those over the age of 8 
  • at all major events with an attendance above 30,000.
