From tomorrow, Major Road Projects Victoria will commence new works to improve traffic flow at the Punt Road and Swan Street intersection.

From Wednesday 30 January

• Permanently, you will not be able to turn right from Olympic Boulevard to Punt Road. Detour via Alexandra Avenue.
• Until April 2019, you will not be able to turn right from Punt Road to Swan Street. Detour via Bridge Road.

Once the new intersection is complete, you’ll be able to turn right from Punt Road to Swan Street using a p-turn.

From Thursday 7 February to Tuesday 12 February

From 11pm on Thursday 7 February to 6am on Tuesday 12 February, Olympic Boulevard will be closed between Punt Road and AAMI Park.

Travel tips

Additional lane closures may be in place.

Detours will be clearly marked and may add 30 to 60 minutes to your journey.
