Due to the current Melbourne Water works to replace the M41 water main, cyclists heading to and from the CBD are advised to avoid Edinburgh Gardens and Napier Street.

If travelling to the CBD, detour either

• along the Capital City Trail and down Canning Street
• via St Georges Road/Brunswick Street
• via Wellington Street.

If travelling from the CBD up Napier Street, detour either:

• along Moor Street then up Canning Street
• along Moor Street then up Brunswick Street/St Georges Road
• along Stanley Street then up Wellington Street.

These detours will be in place until December 2018/January 2019.
