Older persons services
Council aims to foster a healthy, active and socially supported life for older adults.
Council’s Aged and Disability Services carries out a community development and planning role to ensure that older adults are included in community life. Council also provides a range of services to assist older adults to live independently in their homes.
These activities are carried out in partnership with community agencies such as neighbourhood houses, health centres, seniors clubs and other community organisations.
