Support Services

Individual support

Yarra Youth Services provides a free support service for local young people. The support service can provide information, referrals or just someone to talk to. The service helps young people who seek advice about a range of issues, including:

  • depression or anxiety
  • sex and sexuality
  • drugs and alcohol
  • problems at home
  • problems at school or at work
  • bullying
  • problems finding somewhere to live.


Confidentiality

Yarra Youth Services has a dedicated caseworker who provides support to young people. Everything that is said to the caseworker is strictly confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of Yarra Youth Services without consent. The caseworker will only share information if they believe that someone is at risk of being hurt.
