White Street Reserve
White Street Reserve is a pocket park on the corner of White Street and Railway Crescent, Richmond.
Following consultation with the community in October 2015, Council has finalised plans for an upgrade of White Street Reserve.
This will involve a new and improved playground, garden bed and trees, along with a number of other improvements.
The valuable feedback received from community members resulted in several changes to the plan, including:
- Tree planting will be concentrated around the edge of the park, so that a large open grassed area is retained for ball playing activities.
- Shade sails will be provided over the playground.
- The existing heritage seats will be retained and an additional seat will be provided away from the playground.
- The bin will be relocated closer to the picnic tables.

Work on the park upgrade is due to commence in May 2016, and will take about 4-6 weeks to complete. During this time, the park will be unavailable for use.
