Roads and Council Land
This local law regulates activities on roads and Council land.
Some of the issues addressed by the
Roads and Council Land Local Law (123.00kB) include:
- overhanging vegetation
- abandonment of shopping trolleys
- busking
- commercial fitness activities in local parks
- spoils on roads
- damage to Council assets
- placement of signage, goods, furniture in public places
- noisy vehicles
- misuse of parking permits.
This local law incorporates amendments made by:
- the Roads and Council Land (Miscellaneous Parking and Traffic Matters) Local Law, No. 1 of 2004
- the Validity of Parking Permits Local Law, No. 1 of 2007
- the Management of Large Building Sites Local Law, No. 1 of 2009
- the Commercial Fitness Activity Local Law, No. 2 of 2009.
