Bicycle Victoria is the peak body for cyclists. It focuses on a range of issues for cyclists including:

- increased bicycle awareness.

These events can give your cycling some focus. If you are a new rider, Ride to Work Day is a great way to get enthused about riding.

Yarra Bicycle Users Group (BUG) is a community voluntary organisation which covers the inner suburbs of Abbotsford, Alphington, Burnley, Carlton North, Clifton Hill, Cremorne, Collingwood, Fairfield, Fitzroy, Fitzroy North, Princes Hill and Richmond.
The Yarra BUG advocates on behalf of cyclists for improved cycling conditions, lobbying organisations such as Yarra City Council, VicRoads, Bicycle Victoria and many other groups.
YarraBUG has a weekly radio program, broadcasting every Monday on 3CR Community Radio 855 AM, from 10am, and streaming live on the web at 3cr.org.au
