Youth Arts Redevelopment
Yarra Youth Services is redeveloping its youth arts program to create new opportunities for young people to be involved in art projects.
As part of the redevelopment, Council has sought feedback from young people, their families, members of the community and fellow service providers to identify opportunities for new youth arts initiatives in the City of Yarra.
A revitalised program is expected to be launched in July 2012.
The redevelopment follows a review into Yarra’s Napier Youth Arts Studio Program. The review identified several areas for improvement. The Napier program was suspended in January 2012. During the suspension period, Council has assisted local young people in accessing alternative youth programs.
