Pensioner rates rebate
In 2011/2012, ratepayers with a valid concession card will be eligible for a Council rebate of $130 on their rates for their principal place of residence.
Ratepayers are eligible if they hold a:
- Pensioner Concession Card — issued by Centrelink or Department of Veterans’ Affairs
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card — War Widow (WW)
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card — Totally and Permanently Incapacitated (TPI).
This rebate is additional to the State Government rebate of $193.40.
People who receive unemployment benefits or holders of health care cards do not qualify for the rebate.
