Opportunities to participate in social and recreational activities can be important to your wellbeing.
There are many recreational and social activities operating across Yarra that welcome older people and people with disabilities. Many local groups cater for particular interests such as gentle exercise, arts and crafts, and further education.
These activities are provided in Neighbourhood Houses, health centres and community venues close to you.

Some social and recreational services can be arranged in your home through friendly visiting services. These services can match you with people who have similar interests and can visit you on a regular basis. Council can put you in contact with these services.
There may be a cost associated with some activities.
