Respite Care
Yarra’s respite care service supports carers by giving them a break from their caring role.
Council offers respite services that are centre-based or provided at home. These sessions usually occur at a pre-arranged time, although they can sometimes be arranged on an ad hoc or emergency basis.
Council will discuss your respite care needs with you, including the length of respite care and the type of care that will suit your circumstances.
Council also provides respite care to support families that have a child with a disability.
