Some people may need assistance with their personal care.

Personal carers can help you with your needs and ensure that all personal care tasks are performed in a sensitive manner.

All non-medical related personal care needs can be arranged through the Assessment Officers.

Medical or nursing tasks can usually be arranged through your doctor or local nursing service. If you are unsure, the Assessment Officers will provide you with advice and information and can arrange a referral if required.

As a guide, our personal care services include:

toileting
showering
grooming
dressing
emptying commodes
assistance with eating
prompting with medication
some meal preparation.
