Street signs - heritage
In recent years, Council has introduced heritage street signs across Yarra.
Created with input and advice from Yarra’s historical societies, the 60 signs are placed at historical streets across the municipality and provide a short history of the street or street name.
So, whether you’re shopping or dining in one of Yarra’s retail strips, or travelling through our residential areas, look out for these signs and find out more about the history of your local community.
