We understand that opportunities for social and recreational activities are important to your well-being. There are many recreational and social activities operating across Yarra welcoming people with disabilities.

Recreational and social activities include many local clubs which have particular interests such as gentle exercise, walking groups, arts and crafts, educational groups and many other activities. These activities are provided in Neighbourhood Houses, Health Centres and community venues close to you.

Some social and recreational services can be arranged in your home through friendly visiting services. These services can match you with people of similar interests, who are able to visit you on a regular basis for mutual support. We can put you in contact with these services.

There may be a cost associated with some activities.
