ERIC - Education Resources Information Centre (ERIC) provides free access to more than 1.2 million bibliographic records of journal articles and other education-related materials and, if available, includes links to full text. ERIC is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences (IES).

The Conversation - Launched in March 2011, The Conversation is an independent source of information, analysis and commentary from the university and research sector.

17th and 18th Century Burney Collection Newspapers. This represents the largest single collection of 17th and 18th century English news media available from the British Library

19th Century British Library Newspapers. This offers national, regional and local 19th century British newspapers.

The Times Digital Archive, 1785-1985. The Times (London) is regarded as the most authoritative medium for political, legal , business and social news. The complete page of every issue is included here.
