Australian Dictionary of Biography Online Edition. This is Australia's pre-eminent dictionary of national biography which contains over 10,000 scholarly biographies of significant Australians who died before 1980.

The Conversation - Launched in March 2011, The Conversation is an independent source of information, analysis and commentary from the university and research sector.

Britannica Online. This online resource has over 123,000 articles from Encyclopedia Britannica and various journals, 27,000 photo's and illustrations, 3,300 video and audio clips.

Picture Victoria. The primary focus of Picture Victoria is to provide a single portal for access to pictorial and photographic collections held in Victoria's public libraries.

Picture Australia. This is a service hosted by the National Library of Australia. Picture Australia provides a single access point to the digitised pictorial collections held in the collections of libraries, museums, galleries, archives, universities and other cultural agencies in Australia and abroad.

17th and 18th Century Burney Collection Newspapers. This represents the largest single collection of 17th and 18th century English news media available from the British Library

19th Century British Library Newspapers. This offers national, regional and local 19th century British newspapers.

The Times Digital Archive, 1785-1985. The Times (London) is regarded as the most authoritative medium for political, legal , business and social news. The complete page of every issue is included here.
