Marketing program

The City of Yarra supports over 8,700 businesses and a diverse population of over 78,000, in a small geographic area. The eclectic mix of thriving arts and entertainment precincts, vibrant shopping and café strips, neighbourhood villages, professional and personal services, manufacturers, health and community providers are a vital part of Yarra’s culture, community and economy.

Through the Marketing Program (run in partnership by Council and other agencies), local businesses can sponsor events, become a marketing partner and buy into heavily-subsidised tactical marketing opportunities in print media and online campaigns.
